In 2004 we started building new kennels for our dogs. A big job but worth it in the end. As our property is in a flood zone we have had to build the kennels up on a pad. The dogs will have a wonderful view.
At this stage we had the shed built and then came the task of building the internal runs. The kennels are air-conditioned and heated.
Each of the runs has an outside run attached to it.
A proud Steve the day the first of the outside runs was complete. The first of the inside runs completed also. To help with the extremes of hot and cold we have insulated the kennels (thanks to John Rosamilia for getting it for us). We've discovered how comfortable fold up chairs are for the GSPs. As soon as one of us gets up a GSP jumps into our chair. The greyhounds have raised beds with mats on top. All the internal kenenls are finished. Just the finishing touches to the interior needs doing. The painting of the walls and ceiling for starters.
Thanks to Bill for our lovely kitchen benches and tiles.
